Xero Reports provides an easy way of generating common finance reports which are not available in Xero.

Month end reports can be painful. Wether you are trying to match up PO's split delivery bills or creating an accrual report, one thing is sure - manually extracting this information is painful and slow. Xero Reporting can ease that pain, giving you a simple and clean reporting interface which lets you generate reports in minutes.


Xero Reports give clean finance reports. Add tracking categories at the line item level to your reports to provide you with further insight with a limit of up to 2 categories per line item.


How does it work?

The setup process for Xero Reports is quick and easy. Once you have your Dygitized login, simply log in and follow the on screen prompts to complete setup. On Step 2, you will be redirected to Xero to login and will be asked by Xero to approve Xero Reports access to your data. Once complete you can start generating reports. Note that Xero Connect does not store any of your finance data on the platform, and queries Xero in real time for report generation. Dygitized does not gain access to your Xero credentials - the login process happens directly on the Xero platform, which you can see from the URL during setup.

Additional Reports

Dygitized can supply additional reports under two models:

  • Option 1: Provide Bespoke reports which are accessible only to you. In this case, development fees apply for that specific report, and access to that report will be limited to your login.
  • Option 2: Provide Bespoke reports which are shared with all users. In this case, Dygitized will assess the likely interest and may absorb development costs if a significant number of users show interest.

Report Generation Made Easy

Step 1: Login and Navigate to "Xero Reports": You will be presented with a list of available reports for your account.



Step 2: Select the Report to run - Some reports are as simple as clicking View Report. Others may prompt for date ranges, status filters or other criteria. Simply select the desired filter and click view report.



Step 3: View the Report The report is presented in the browser using data from Xero extracted at the time which you ran the report. Data can be easily copied out from the browser, and some reports present the option of downloading as a PDF or CSV.
